The University of Sheffield African-Caribbean Society is dedicated to celebrating and sharing the vibrant cultures of Africa and the Caribbean. We aim to create a forum that brings together people of these heritages as well as those interested in the cultures with the hope to discuss and educate on important issues. We also aim to invest in the individual and foster the talents that people possess and help them to share that with others. We believe strongly that the beauty of the world lies in the diversity of people and aim to promote this within our university. The society is open to all and is not limited to those of African or Caribbean descent and through our activities hope to promote diversity and cultural awareness as well as making sure that when our members leave us at the end of their time at university, they have fond memories and experiences of their time in ACS. If you haven’t already, click here to join our society.
